Getting into the Internship:
What specific domain or field did you target to get an internship in?
I primarily targeted core fields in electrical engineering in which my focus was digital electronics and architectural roles.
What resources did you utilize to prepare for the tests/interviews?
I used google to search for interview questions for the related profile( digital electronics in my case), also I did some leetcode practice problems (not required for most core companies but some core companies might ask this) to refresh my coding knowledge. I practiced using c++ language as this would be most relevant.
Can you elaborate on your interview and the type of questions which were asked?
I was asked mostly digital electronics questions based on sequential circuits like FSMs, Flipflops, Latches etc.
How did you handle any rejections that you faced (If any) during the internship application process?
None, got selected for my first internship
During the internship:
What was your specific profile or project topic during the internship?
I worked in Design verification team in texas instruments.
How would you describe your overall experience as an intern?
My overall experience in Texas Instrumenst is quiet good, as the work is interesting and as a company texas instruments does have that hectic corporate environment.
Could you provide insights into the organizational culture of the company/university and what your peers were like?
The overall working environment is quiet good and is very lenient unlike many other corporate companies.
