- Current Year of Study : 4th
- Year of Internship: 2025
- **Role during Internship **: Analog design intern
- Duration: 9 weeks
- What kind of roles/companies were you primarily aiming for?: Core
Motivations
I enjoy doing analog and digital. And this role also complemented my dual degree specialization (ICS)
Resources
A thorough revision of analog and digital courses like EE 204, 224, 309 was enough
Main Topics
Opamps, RC circuits, solving circuits using KCL, KVL
Selection process
There was a test, followed by an interview
Road-blocks
Given the less amount of opportunities that open up for DD people, it was a bit disappointing at first. I even got rejected by a few firms. But constant motivation from friends and family helped :)
Work during internship
I modelled a half duplex, synchronous communication link to achieve a very low bit error rate. It involved designing multiple components like transmitter-receiver, channel, PLL, etc
Overall Internship Experience
TI has a very good work culture with the best part being it’s people. Everyone was really helpful. Almost every evening after work, we used to go to Texins- which was a separate area with many sports facilities, music room, dance room, etc. It was a good experience overall!
Networking opportunities
I made some really good connections with many people in my team including my mentor and manager. I also got lucky as I had multiple IITB alums working in my team. I bonded very well with them (over discussions like RR about some courses or profs XD)
Reccomended or not
Advice
Don’t panic if you blank out in an interview. Just pretend it was a dramatic pause! 💁🏻♀️ Add a thoughtful nod, works 37% of the time😂
