Motivations
I liked the digital systems and microprocessor courses and their labs. Also during the summer vacation after my second year I did an interesting course related to kernel development.

Selection process
The technical test for TI was on August 23, 2024. It had four sections analog, digital, embedded and signal and we had to choose any two of them. I chose digital and embedded. After the test, I was shortlisted for the embedded role interview, which happened on August 25, 2024. I received the offer on the same day through PT cell.
Road-blocks
The hurdle for me was that I could not clear a software interview for which had prepared for immensely.
Work during internship
My project was to interface TI’s corner radar sensor with their microcontroller to replace the existing pc based setup. So I had to build the entire flow from booting up the sensor, to configuring the sensor parameters then triggering the sensor and capturing the received data via CSI2 protocol.
Overall Internship Experience
It was a good experience. I had a constant support from my mentor also our team had weekly sync up meets to address the issues that the team was facing.
Networking opportunities
I was part of the Radar team, in the ADAS Software Apps subteam at TI. On my floor there were other subteams like Hardware Apps, SDK, HSM. I spoke with people from these teams to understand my project better and also got to know the projects they were working on.
Reccomended or not
This had a mix of both embedded software and a bit of hardware which made it more interesting for me. My experience was great because I worked on a meaningful project that was useful for the team.
