Basic Information

Domain Targeted

No specific preference as such but core electrical was preferred

Preparation Resources

Some of the resources floated on the common groups by the seniors and studied the required topics from google. Apart from that standard preparation for puzzles and a little bit of DSA.

Interview Experience

The test was 3 hours long with one big DSA question. The question was on the easier side and I was able to solve it mathematically itself without much practice of DSA. The interview was on the easier side, the interviewer was very friendly and gave a hint in one of the algorithm question. Apart from that he asked one question about Data structures and one puzzle.

Other Applications

I wasn’t really targeting a software development role as such so wasn’t putting much effort in their tests either. Luckily the solution just struck me in the test in this case.

Project Work

Even though the profile was software development, the work in the entire company was AI/ML related. Based on my background in electrical engineering, I was given a team working in the same field. My job involved working on designing a neural network based OFDM reciever.

Overall Experience

Kinda both. Good pay, relaxed and also I got a chance to work in research which I wanted to try out for quite some time. What was even better was the fact that I got to work in a mixture of AI/ML and core electrical which was purely by luck. It was a nice experience overall. Also, Bangalore clubs are nice to explore. :)

Organizational Culture

The company culture isn’t the best tbh. First of all there was a kinda segregation between interns into 2 roles - Adv dev and basic dev (based on JEE rank and CPI criteria). The stipends were different tho there wasn’t any difference in the work. For PPO also, they don’t care much about the project performance and take interviews and another test (similar to the intern test). The HRs are kinda unresponsive and stuck-up at times but overall it is manageable. In PPO also there exist 2 roles - Advanced and basic with different pay.

Networking Opportunities

I didn’t try much networking

PPO & Future Prospects

The PPO rate is quite high from what I have heard however it is vastly dependent on the role they wish to hire you for so I am not fully sure.

Recommendation & Advice

If u want something that pays decently well (atleast for adv dev role) and u want to have a kinda laid-back lifestyle then it would be great for u. However those who r actually very serious about learning during the intern wud be recommended to pass up on this. Rest anyone who has any specific questions can hmu about them, I’ll be happy to help :)
