No extravagant expectations but just expected me to read and study the materials and topics which were needed for my project.

Load: 8th Sem vs 9th (Placement) Sem
In the initial 2 months of sem, prof expected to meet weekly and give updates so that regular work is being done but once placement tests started, prof also gave freedom and told to meet whenever I am free and have done some update worthy work.

Advice
Selecting a good guide is more important than project because that will shape how your progress happens, because a good guide will automatically improve your project quality and will also make sure that you don’t get too overloaded or be stressed.
